Man I loved this song and I loved that fact that my hard rock, heavy metal, or whatever you want to call it had gone mainstream in being a soundtrack in A Nightmare on Elm Street.

I remember hearing it for the first time at …I think it was a gymnasium when I was about 16 or 17 or so, for a basketball game between St Mary’s and I couldn’t even begin to recall the other team.

Anyway, I asked the kid playing the music during the intermission who this was as it was a great song and when he said Dokken; I was floored.

I had been a huge fan of their first handful of albums, but news back then was not as easy to acquire.  

We got it from either MTV or Much Music, Circus Magazine, or from the kid at the basketball game.
