Hounds Score 8 in Win Last Night and Charlie in my opinion Will Start Tonight in Goal

After the Hounds gave up a 3 goal lead on two occasions they managed to shut the door the third time they acquired the said and finished the night winning 8-5 before a season high 2700 fans and some change.

The Dogs broke out to a 1-0 lead early on just like they did with the Sudbury Wolves but the relentless Battalion kept plugging away. The Hounds put up big numbers from Rory Kerins who had a hat trick and 6 points on the night and now sits first in OHL points with 14 followed by teammate Cole MacKay with 13.

Both Team renew their rivalry tonight and here is The Tale of The Tape

NORTH BAY BATTALION

Coach Ryan Oulahen

General Manager Adam Dennis

Record 4-3

Players to watch will be Tnias Mathuri and teammate Brandon Coe. Tye Nelson and Russell Mitchell will be looking for redemption from last nights drubbing.

Kyle Jackson will also be looking to exact some revenge and don’t be surprised if Joe Vrbetic gets the start in net.

SOO GREYHOUNDS

Coach John Dean

General Manager Kyle Raftis

Record 5-2

Tonight the Hounds will continue to dominate and Marco Mignosa will get more ice and expect a big game from him. I am also thinking that the Hounds are shopping around Dominic Mufarreh as I don’t think he has played a game this season and I expect him to be dealt shortly. Ethan Montroy  with his extra curricular will probably sit tonight and Landen Hookey or Caeden Carlisle will play in his stead.  Leading the way will be Rory Kerins , Tye and Cole once again. Bryce and Calisti as always will dominate.

I am 1-2 in my goalie predictions and feel that Charlie starts tonight as the Hounds have won the last two games and face a NB team trying to find their way and are exhausted after being mauled last night. They are tired and it will show tonight where they are playing their 3rd in three nights.

Pop in and grab some grub at The Canuck before the game and if you can’t make it, get Skip the Dishes to deliver while you watch the game on Shaw or via CHL Livestream.
