When I found out some information recently I was blown away. I mean if you are my age or in the vicinity, you will no doubt have heard Rod Stewart classics like Young Turks, and Do Ya Think I am Sexy. What about You Keep Me Hanging On (which I am doing to you right now) by Vanilla Fudge?
My guest has also been a tempo keeper in such iconic bands as King Kobra, Blue Murder, and he’s recorded with the likes of Marty Friedman (Megadeth), Paul Stanley, Ted Nugent, Jeff Beck and hundreds more.
Drummers such as Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden), Canadian Neil Peart r.i.p. (RUSH), Phil Collins (Genesis), Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), John Bonham r.i.p. (Led Zeppelin) and scores and scores of others list my interviewee as a major influence in their style and careers.
