With the recent games where the Hounds have doubled their opponents in shots it is about time that the score reflects that much. A great effort by the boys and a nice win to start the homestand.
Scoring for the Hounds were Rory Kerins, Robert Calisti, Tanner Dickinson, Cole MacKay, and Kirill Kudryavstev.
Sammy Ivanov played a good game when called upon and I am sure shutout was on his mind but it was spoiled at he 10:32 mark by Saginaw’s Sebastian Gervais.
It was really nice to see Luc Brzustowski in the lineup.
Of note; Tyler Savard got into a one-sided scrap to show his character regarding a knee by another Savard (Olivier). You have to wonder what the point is punching a visor to that extent. You would think that holding the punching arm and trying to force the helmet off before putting your fists through that much damage would be the strategy. It is possible that the officials would have a penalty for that kind of educated violence lol. Anyway it was good to see Tyler showing the Hounds will not take that kind of play.
Tomorrow night the Flintstones will be in town.
