Hounds @ Home 4 3 Games/Investigation Still Ongoing

This weekend the Hounds start a three game home stand on Friday against the Sarnia Sting who they entertain again the next night. The Hounds conclude the trio next Wednesday as they host the Flint Firebirds.

Let’s hope the boys build off their most recent win and sweep and sit on a four game winning streak by next Thursday.

I wrote in my headline a column previous that I was inquiring on the status of a story published by Soo Today on Christmas Eve regarding one of the Greyhounds.

With respect to the young man, I will not mention his name as any Greyhound fan would know it or could inquire via the original story that Soo Today published.

At this time, the player has not been suspended or missed any games due to the allegations so I thought that all was well and I may have missed an update.

In any event, I received a reply from Josh Sweetland (Director of Communications/Ontario Hockey League)  that “No update on the ***** situation. Investigation is ongoing.”

I reached out to the media/publications department of the Soo Greyhounds and did not receive any kind of communication or response.
