Wanna Marchi Is a Nut !!
So last night before bed I flicked on Netflix and since I had watched almost everything on there I decided to gamble. I came across Fortune Teller: A TV SCAM, I figured I’d give it a try.
The docuseries is about a woman from Italy (Wanna Marchi) with a large personality who went from basically rags to riches in the early days of the shopping network style of tv ads and selling. The difference was this nutbars approach. Instead of saying..”hey beautiful, you should try this cream to improve you complexion and blend out those wrinkles; she would say .“hey tubby, nobody is going to want to sleep with you looking like that, so you need to get on the phone and order my fat burning paste”
I am only about two episodes into this series but it looks like it will end with her either being imprisoned for fraud as to her products and money laundering or beating the charges
It skips from past court cases from the 80’s etc to recent time where she looks like she is as free as a bird talking to a journalist etc.
So far this show is very entertaining from the hair styles from 70s/80s etc to her flamboyant way of speaki…..I mean SCREAMING at the camera. I think cocaine may have been her mid day snack.
Her daughter, Stefania Nobilie ,is alongside her from the run from rags to riches and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. While Wanna reminds me of Tammy Faye-Baker, her daughter is a cross between Cyndi Lauper, and Krusty the Klown; wow….the makeup and tans lol.
Anyway without giving too much away, there is also death threats, jail time, and arson involved.
Is she resilient? You had better believe it as she loses everything like a Donald Trump, only to rebound and swindle her way to the top again.

I have to warn you that the show is dubbed in English as per the Italian setting, but even if you don’t like the audio dubs, I am sure you will be hooked.
