Hounds Bus Gets Stuck On Sarnia Bridge

AAA Team Replaces Greyhounds In 9-0 Loss

WOW !!

After the great news of the Hounds acquiring forward Brenden Sirizzotti yesterday, you would think the kids would have some jump to their game; any jump would do. All they had to do was put on their skates but it appears they didn’t and the result was a 9-0 bombing by the Kitchener Rangers and a headline for all writers across Canada. With this win, the Ranger now leapfrog the Greyhounds for the 7th Conference spot, and if the team doesn’t get their butts in gear they risk Guelph tying them for the last and final playoff spot today.

Yesterday I alluded to a sweep of the roadtrip as per their recent play and well “ I was waaaaaaaaaaaa off”

Obviously, the Hounds didn’t score, but an interesting note was that any kind of offensive push was via our two stud defenseman. In a losing effort Kirill Kudryavstev had 5 shots on goal while rookie Andrew Gibson directed 6 of his own.

Scoring for the Rangers were Francesco Pinelli who had a goal and four assists, Matthew Sop with a goal and an assist, the rink attendant guy picked up one, Christa from the canteen had her first OHL goal, Barry from the Box Office had a big night with his second hat trick of the year, the Zamboni driver scored his first goal of the season, and the parking lot attendant rounded things out by scoring the ninth goal of the game.

Hounds play Guelph this afternoon before heading home for the Christmas Break.
