Don't Second Guess...Charlie Will Get Drafted
Charlie let in 5 goals last night and that is a rarity. He would sometimes go 3 games and not in that man ; But he had in front of him a defense that is adjusting. Even though the boys lost 6-5 to Kingston there is reason to be optimistic.
New comer Brady T Smith had his first two goals as a Hound, Mignosa had two points, Chris Brown had two as well as young Chase Reid.
From here on in we will see this team to to a contender net year.
I like Owen Allard as a good and kid and hockey player but with his World Juniors last year and him being drafted I felt he should have been dealt to a team that could have invigorated him, This year hasn’t played with any passion,
Anyway moving forward I will start paying for the the package and start watching the kids more as I think it will be more entertaining.
The first half of the season people were calling for Deans head and I wouldn’t go to that extent (it’s a felony) but wasn’t sure if his goaltender choices were smooth and at the same time I as many thought he was soft of the kids and that is not how you win, They need to be called out for lazy play not and glorified like a Golden GOD when they do good.
I know it is a different day and age but these kids can’t be babied. If they play good let them know and if not let them/us know. This is how they learn.
I hope John is around next year to help up us win a title. He is a talented man and coach as all things in life….has to adjust.
