British heavy metal legends Iron Maiden are number on the British Billboard album charts right now with the release of this &#8220;tactful and strategic&#8221; album Senjutsu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>And this just in as I started writing this a week ago; as of yesterday, September 13, Maiden has entered the American Billboard charts the highest they have over their 4 decade career. Senjutsu entered at #3.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Below them are <strong>Drake, Ed Sheeran<\/strong> and everyone else so that must give you some of the gravity of this release for the eternal band from the UK.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">With 16 other studio albums to there credit including some of my personal favorites like <strong>Piece of Mind<\/strong> and <strong>The Number of the Beast<\/strong>, this 2021 release of Maiden is as heavy, articulate, and clever as ever.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This album will become a fan favorite for many and after listening to the cut below you will understand why.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On a different topic of sorts; I can&#8217;t believe how after battling and winning the fight against throat cancer, that vocalist <strong>Bruce Dickinson<\/strong> and his singing strength keeps getting better.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On songs like <strong>The Parchment<\/strong> or <strong>The Time Machine<\/strong> you can here is robust tenure voice carrying notes 10 seconds long which is a trademark of the band.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On one of my favorite past tunes, <strong>Hallowed Be Thy Name,<\/strong> I still get goosebumps hearing Bruce hang on to &#8220;running lowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww&#8221; It lasts over 10 seconds.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Iron Maiden \u2013 The Writing On The Wall (Official Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FhBnW7bZHEE?list=OLAK5uy_kn2pGUW6S6TEiU3dn8YAZQ5Y5LmmgK9x8\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Anyway, aside from this, the album is very progressive and issued in trademark style coming in at over 80 minutes of triple guitars, running bass and insane drumming..<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0A normal trademark of the band still applies with <strong>Steve Harris<\/strong> writing a strong majority of the songs, but Bruce lends his pen on three and <strong>Janick Gers<\/strong> and <strong>Adrian Smith<\/strong> also contribute.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It&#8217;s really hard to sum up a 88 minute long rock opera of sorts so to be clear, this is definitely new and classic Iron Maiden and they have cranked things to ELEVEN on this one.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you&#8217;re training for a marathon or the wife has sent you out for an endless day of errands; plug this baby in and before you know it you will be home and at the finish line with a big grin on your face.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Particular tracks to lookout for in my opinion and millions of others is the <strong>Darkest Hour<\/strong> and <strong>The Writing on the Wall<\/strong> which to me has a unique kind of heavy metal <strong>Steve Early Copperhead Road<\/strong> kind of vibe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Up The Irons !!<\/p>\n<div class=\"remoji_bar\"><div class=\"remoji_add_container\" data-remoji-id=\"8991\" data-remoji-type=\"post\"><div class=\"remoji_add_icon\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"remoji_error_bar\" data-remoji-id=\"8991\" data-remoji-type=\"post\" style=\"display: none;\">Error happened.<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yup, you read that right.
