Tony built me a great site and I needed to reach out to former interviewees and I knew Ron would help out as he is just a great and generous guy.<\/p>\n<p>Long story short; he agreed in a flash and the interview was set up, confirmed, and it went without a glitch. I wanted to post it right away, but life throws you curveballs, such as a granddaughter being born and that sort of thing. If link fails to embed; please just click here&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Bumblefoot INTERVIEW\/GNR Couldn&#039;t Have Hired a Nicer Guy Than Ron When There Was a  Vacancy\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZUCT5Nk7shE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I also had previous articles to write and publish so maybe a lesson of &#8220;Patience&#8221; is what I need a tutorial in.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, Ron my apologize !!!!<\/p>\n<p>In case you have been <strong>living<\/strong> <strong>under a snow bank here in Canada<\/strong> <strong>or in a van down by the river somewhere<\/strong>, Ron Bumblefoot Thal is currently a founding member of <strong>Sons of Apollo<\/strong> featuring legends, I mean LEGENDS, <strong>Mike Portnoy, Jeff Scott Soto, Billy Sheehan, and Derek Sherinian<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019 he was tapped to keep the train going by being the singer\/guitar player in the Supergroup <strong>Asia<\/strong> (Heat of the Moment, Wildest Dreams, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>And&#8230;before this Ron burst on to the stage, by being recruited by <strong>Axl Rose<\/strong> to front a segued version of the mega hit band <strong>Guns N Roses<\/strong> in <strong>2006<\/strong> where he thrilled audiences worldwide <strong>until 2014<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_8537\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/roxysfryshack\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8537\" class=\"wp-image-8537 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/bordercityrocktalk.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Roxysfryshack1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"140\" height=\"111\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-8537\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Daily Specials<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Over the past 2 decades he has worked with dozens of bands (including the up and coming Israeli group <strong>The Dodies<\/strong>) and artists, as a producer, engineer, writer, arranger, and performer. When it comes to music and composing: <strong>Ron Thal&#8217;s done it Al<\/strong>.
