Clapton will not let discrimination win; Vows to cancel any show that requires forced Vaccinations

Eric Clapton has made it clear about what he thinks about the Covid 19 Jab. If you force my fans to have a vaccination to enter and see one of my shows booked at your venue; you will be shit out of luck he basically says.

After a recent announcement by PM Boris Johnson in the UK regarding Vaccine Passes, the former Cream singer and guitarist released this so that there was no confusion on his stance.

“I wish to say that I will not perform on any stage where there is a discriminated audience present. Unless there is a provision for all people to attend, I reserve the right to cancel the show”

Van Morrison

You might argue that some of his feelings may have also come from the fact that after receiving the vaccine earlier this year the effects of “agony”, “chronic pain” and sensitivity to hot/cold to his fretting left hand are fresh in his mind.

IF you have been paying attention to the rock scene over the last year and a half, you will have heard that another famous rocker from the day; Van Morrison, makes no secret of his political views and thoughts on the subject.

There are other rockers that I have personally spoken with that are on the same page as Eric, but some are not as fortunate to boycott playing gigs as Eric is.

The bottom line is earning a living and that is a tricky tricky slope to navigate for sure.
