Jonathan Lemaire of the Sudbury Wolves deserved the third star as he faced 51 pucks and kept his composure after the Hounds scored 2 goals on two shots in 46 seconds to start the hockey game. Both goals were in tight and those are the tough ones.
With an 0-4 record and a GAA of 5.00 heading into the game, the rusty goalie who hasn’t played much due to Mitchell Weeks playing good and the C19 issue could have collapsed and folded after the first two goals but didn’t.
Post game on Wolves TV the netminder said “you can’t let it get to you” and regarding how the team bounced back against an top notch team like the Hounds “it was a step in the right direction”

As for the Hounds who came out blazing once again, they definitely played a great road game. Jumping out with an early lead they kept the pressure on all night.
The PK is coming along as I see the kids challenging and skating and not sitting idle in the box for long periods. The Hounds killed all 5 penalties against them.
Aside from Rory, Calisti, and Tye, I thought Kalvyn Watson played a really good game picking up a goal, a +2 rating, and 6 shots.
Speaking of shots on goal; returning forward Tanner Dickinson had 9 shots on goal (almost 1/5) of the Hounds total and that effort earned him 2 assists.
Tyler Savard didn’t make it on the scoresheet with points, but he let his presence be known with 3 shots on goal and 15 more in a fight with Sudburys’ Nolan Collins at the 13:30 mark of the first.
Scoring for the Hounds were Rory Kerins (2), Kalvyn Watson, and rookie Justin Cloutier with his 4th of the season.
Tucker Tynan is starting to get the recognition he deserves in the win column and played solid all night stopping all but 2.
Ryan O’Rourke didn’t dress and is day to day as per wear and tear at the World Juniors. He will not be out long and most likely back in the lineup this week.
The Hounds play Sudbury again tomorrow night and one has to wonder if they came home after the game last night or stayed in Sudbury.
