Crafts R Fun !!! copy/paste Hounds Lose Again/Designer Espresso Anyone?

Did Metallica Write Sad But True for the Soo Greyhounds of 2022/23?

Coming off a 3-2 loss last night to the Guelph Storm something is going have to give. This city prides itself on winning, and winning………..they are not. This group of kids are definitely not losing for lack of effort but are losing for lack of experience, talent in certain areas, and injuries are all playing a factor. Throw in some bad luck and bounces and you have the 7th place Soo Greyhounds.

The Dogs are a couple of points ahead of London but the Knights have a couple of games in hand and we all know that Dale will get them on a streak pretty soon. Luckily for the Hounds there are more than a few teams playing under 500 hockey in the West so right now is not time to panic, but it is time to reassess  the team.

A bright year for Owen Allard is not going to happen as per his injury, Who knows the seriousness of Luc Brzustowski situation as seizures are serious disruptions of electrical current to the brain that can be caused by blunt force trauma or many reasons; the team will be bringing him back slowly and I am glad to hear that he appears to be doing well.

I noticed Dean only dressed two centreman last night and have not heard if Brown or Moses are injured or if he was trying to utilize some more seasoned players for offence.

Speaking of offence, the Hounds also need to find a way to score the goals on the Power Play as they currently sit at a rate of about 16% whereas last year they were dynamite hovering around 30% at times.

On the import front hopefully something is cooking. German Julian Lutz is still not playing; 6 games in 19 potential on a roster of seasoned vets like Ben Street and Chris DeSousa. At 18 years of age, Julian is fighting for ice time against a team with an average age of 28 years.

As good as Ivanov has been playing I figure Schenkel gets the nod and we’ll see what John Dean has up his  sleeve to try and get some scoring.

Tonight the Hounds entertain the Niagara IceDogs who are coming of a win last night in Sudbury. Aside from that win; they are 2-8 in their last 10 and give up the second most goals (71) in the OHL so the Hounds be able to bury a few and come out with the win.

Crafts Are Fun

I may not become a millionaire but my new hobby that I am getting underway may bring in a few bucks…especially during the busy tourist months. I am dabbling with custom designs for everything from key chains, to coffee mugs, to even bird houses. As I am learning the ins and outs of supply cost vs demand etc., I am realizing it is all about putting in a little time and voila….the benefits will come. It only took me about 5 minutes of design themes and I have my first espresso mug for sale. The RL is for Richards Landing and well the anchors are obvious around here. If you need something designed let me know. I can even custom it to your company, coffee shop, or whatever. Cheerio and have a great day !!
